WOO 200 MILESTONE REACHED!

Thank you all for helping me reach this milestone, what a way to kick off the new year! I don't have any sort of celebratory art, but I just finished my deluxe version of my sona ref with a new design to boot that I've been saving for this occasion, so I guess it counts! (Also, you're fine to use the old design, if it ain't broke don't fix it)

The next milestone is 250 as 25 is I guess a lucky number of mine!

Oh yeah, this year is 20th anniversary of my first ever Kirby game, Amazing Mirror, I should do something for it...

Happy New Year's Eve, folks! Since everyone else is making their own 2023 recap, I might as well make my own! Though, my memory's quite fuzzy, so I'll making most of these pretty short.

January - Straight out of 2022 and Bill's been on my mind still, so I made a couple of one-off art pieces to make my new monthly art quota work:

Febuary - Pizza Tower was rising in popularity so I hopped on the bandwagon:

March - Jackbox has been doing their monthly event of spotlighting each of their Party Packs, March was for Pack 3, my personal favorite besides Pack 7:

April - So, the Gravity Falls hyperfixation has fully taken over and Bill possessed me to cause trouble...and total embarassment (I'm sorry, Person):

AND I made birthday art for both Kirby and a former friend of mine:

May/June - While I was in a Jackbox server and obsessing over Splatoon (mainly Splatoon 3), I may have made a small AU thing...that's dead now:

July - Nothing much, tried landscape art for the first time:

August - This is where the year picked up steam, my 18th birthday, I'm an adult now! I also discovered the Katamari series with We Love Katamari Reroll! (You can thank my brother for that)

September - My first ever daily art challenge by drawing one copy ability every day:

October - Spooky month has arrived and I got hyperfixated on Borderlands (also thanks to my brother) with Claptrap being back to my life since my small amount of playing Pre-Sequel years ago and watching my brother and dad playing the games:

The art portal updates also made it so you can see all the stuff I requested to be in and all the collabs I'm in!

November - And with that fixation comes fixation merging, along with me finding out more about Poker Night 2:

December - OH MY GOD SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED THIS MONTH, JESUS! First of all, a year in review on my Switch, second of all my first ever hosted collab with a delightful team AND IT GOT FRONT PAGED:

Third of all, Christmas was great, just finished the Portal games and started Tales from the Borderlands (my new favorite traditional Telltale Game) and finally, I just finished the Venture Bros. movie (ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN' AMAZING!) and the end of year is releasing...

Thank you so much for all the support, I'm so close to my next milestone of 200 fans thanks to the collab stuff, it's all happening so damn fast that I can't keep up with things, so bear with me here. Here's to 2024 hopefully being less chaotic and full of more luck!

Merry Christmas (Eve as of the time of writing this post), Newgrounds! Man, this year has been a wild ride for me! Hope you all have been having a wonderful holiday season so far, I can't believe how time flies by... Here's some updates to what I've been up to:

Hey there! You're probably wondering what's been up with me lately and welllll...I've been playing too much Borderlands (I would make an extra doodle with my sona and Claptrap, but I didn't feel like it lol)

But just know I'm still alive and kicking here on Newgrounds, even if people are leaving due to inactivity or other reasons. I even compiled a small list of future art ideas (one of which is already done):

Jackbox Style Collection: Give it some time, I need to get back into some server to snag all the pieces in

Poker Night 2 10th Anniversary: I wanna play the game first, but I got ideas for the art piece. I kinda wanna do a collab where each artist draws each of the 4 characters (I call dibs on Claptrap)

(With that said, if anyone can get me the game on Steam or at least a Steam gift card to make my account not limited, that'll be a free commission heading your way, no scams of course)

Thanksgiving Special: IDK what to draw for this lol

Dodo Re Mainframe: Already done! Give it a few days for the NG upload, I wanna add stuff to the art post

Christmas and Tankmas: All depends on if I got a good quality idea to contribute for the Tankmas ADVENTure

New Years: Had this idea for a piece centered around what I love this year and the songs associated with it, only time will tell...

Pizza Tower Collab: Count Cannoli's still working on the Pizza Tower Collab as we speak, but consider joining the collab if you want!

I also contributed to the Snowman Collab after seeing DioShiba's post mentioning it, so expect an art post about that soon. Maybe my goal for the end of this year or even for next year is to contribute to more collabs cuz they're actually pretty fun!

Thank you to everyone on Newgrounds for all your support for the past 2 years (wow, time flies)! I will be forever grateful to be on a platform that has been so kind and welcoming while also helping me take a first step towards my dream career by being a first for sharing digital art! As a token of my appreciation, I'll give you guys ONE small teaser to something I've been planning for a good while cuz my birthday is 4 days away (Aug. 3rd):

I'll also give you a lil' bit of trivia about myself: the creation of my sona goes back to March of 2020, back when I was still in a physical high school (y'know, before the virus hit hard), I found out while looking through one of my old folders full of drawings. I also gave my NG page a new look to celebrate my birthday approaching, now themed after my very first Kirby game: Kirby and the Amazing Mirror!

And happy International Friendship Day! I'm so happy to have such amazing friends such as:

@Rackam and @MattzoDAR - some of my first friends here on Newgrounds who have been real chill and nice with me

@LaStella - who has been supportive of my art and helped me be in my first collab (and made me realize I keep making friends who has demons as their sonas lol)

Now playing: Kirby's Ultra-Gourmet Memories - Kirby's Dream Buffet

Yep, as I metioned in some other posts, I'm now a high school grad! Finally good to be over with the thing that's been causing me lots of stress for the past few year and start a new chapter in my life. Now I can go wherever the wind takes me: College, my dream job...part-time jobs to get money to pay for those. Of course this ain't the end of my time bringing joy to Newgrounds, I'll still be making art whenever I can, made a personal quota of get at least one or two art pieces for each month so I'm not "dead" here. (Also good to note that I'm much more active on Discord than on NG, my current tag's M-kirbs#3273 or m_kirbs for when the new username update rolls out.) For this month (hopefully, if not then next month), I'm planning a Splatoon art piece based on various concepts over on Discord and a solo piece for a collab from Count Cannoli that will release once the collab vid's up soon.

To all other fellow graduates for the class of 2023 and beyond, congrats to you too and hope you're future's shining as bright as any star in the sky! I know I got myself a big future ahead of me too!
